Hello everyone,
Well this month, we decided to case the catalogue. That means you find a card or project picture in the catalogue for which you have all the materials – for example, the exact colours of cardstock, the exact designer series paper, the exact ribbon, embellishments, etc. and you make it.
Now some of us don’t always have the exact products so we did allow a little discretion but we must all use current Stampin’ Up! products.
I cased the cute card on page 38 of the Holiday catalogue using the Spirited Snowmen stamp set.

Unfortunately I ran out of Granny Apple Green cardstock so rather than stamp the Buffalo Check stamp on a 4 x 5-1/4 inch panel, I stamped it directly onto the card front. I used a piece of Poppy Parade and Whisper White cardstock that measure 3-1/2 x 5 inches. The colouring was done using the Stampin’ Blends which I absolutely love and I added some Wink of Stella. You cannot have a snowman without glitter.
I didn’t have the Galvanized Clips from page 43 so I used a paperclip in its place. I think it turned out great and I hope you do too.

So you see, you don’t have to have any design experience or a great aptitude for design, just copy what you see in the catalogues. Stampin’ Up! encourages a copy and share everything attitude.
Now, why don’t you go and make something from one of the catalogues. And any questions, please don’t hesitate getting in touch with you. I’m your forever helpful and creative coach.
Should you choose to purchase anything, remember to use this month’s Host Code: 3CP4CW77 and get entered into this month’ prize draw.
Happy stamping!
Head on over to the next or previous blogs.
