I’m back from a fabulous week in Orlando Florida and want to share my experiences with you. The highlight of my trip of course was Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary celebration at OnStage. A group of fellow demonstrators from Vancouver Island were there and we had a blast. I then stayed another couple of days to visit Universal Studios and do a little shopping.
Before leaving, I received in the mail my Centre Stage invitation. Demonstrators who have achieved the level of Silver Elite and above were invited to a special event called Centre Stage the evening before the 3-day conference began. I was so happy to have received this special invitation and I have my loyal customers to thank for that.
After picking up my registration package on the morning of Nov 7, we were bused to the Epcot Centre for an afternoon of fun and evening of desserts. Before I get to that, I’d like to share photos of the contents of the registration package.
The canvas bag contained my name tag and ribbons signifying my earned achievements, a set of three notebooks, a set of pens, a stamp set from the upcoming spring Occasions catalogue with a make & take card package to be used with the stamp set.
The number 7 badge you see is for Prize Patrol. Badges were numbered 1 through 8 and throughout the event, typically after a product spotlight and demonstration, a prize patrol number would be announced and staff would come out of nowhere and hand a stamp set to those standing with that number. The prize was the stamp set featured during the product spotlight. That way, you would get lots of ideas and a specific technique to be used with that stamp set.
This is the stamp set I received for my prize patrol number.
There were lots of other surprises scattered throughout the event – everyone went home with a total of five new stamp sets, a new demonstrator tool bag, and a zippered carry-all bag. We were pleasantly surprised. It was so exciting and so much fun!

The Centre Stage event comprised of an afternoon at the Epcot Centre with a special evening of desserts and revelry that started at 8 PM. It ended in time for us to pour out of the building to see the Epcott fireworks.

It was so sunny and hot, I just had to buy Minnie’s hat. |
One of many dessert tables – this was flambeed doughnuts in a whiskey/caramel/honey sauce. |
It was a fabulous event and I recommend it for all demonstrators. The next event will be hosted in New Zealand with our local event happening in Vancouver.
And, to top it all off, Occasions and Sale-A-Bration is just around the corner. I have already pre-ordered a selection of new products and there is a special join offer that includes a fabulous Stampin’ Up carry-all bag. I will talk about that in my next post.
So stay tuned for more!
