While tidying up in my craft room, I came across a card I received from a customer. Wendy did a lovely job stamping the backgrounds using stamps from one or a number of ocean-themed sets.
Rather than stamp a pattern for all my pieces, I used a combination of Designer Series paper (earned for free during Sale-A-Bration which matched the In Bloom stamp bundle) and, for the bottom strip on the card front, I stamped a pattern.

Unfortunately, the paper is now retired but the stamp bundle is still available (item #156208). The flowers didn’t impress me because they have no detail but when I saw that the flowers and leaves in the die set were stitched, that sold me. Also, these types of stamps lend themselves to the kissing technique. This technique uses a background stamp, one with a pattern, whereby you ink it up and then press the flat stamp on top to pick up the pattern. You then stamp it on your paper.

Here is a closer look at the stitched detail and the cute bow.
