I love making cards and will often package them using our Acetate Card Boxes, item #144628, in our Annual Catalogue.
These boxes will comfortably fit four greeting cards with envelopes.
However, if you have created your cards using embellishments such as rhinestones or ribbon, they can be difficult to insert into the box. I decided to try my hand at making something that would wrap around the cards and envelopes to enable them to easily slide in and out of the box. This is what I came up with.
Here are the cutting and scoring measurements and the video below will show you how to put it together.
- cardstock:
- 4-3/8″ x 6-3/4″, scored on the long side at 1/2″ and 1″ from one side
- 4-3/8″ x 5-3/4″
- 11″ x (width of your choice) for the belly band

Wanting to use products before they retire at the end of this month, I made these four cards. The colours are from the 2019-2021 in color collection. The stamp set is Basket of Blooms with the Small Bloom punch, which is on sale right now.
I hope you enjoyed this project and will consider packaging up your card sets this way.
