For this week’s fun fold video I have a card that also serves as a decor item. Wouldn’t this be cute for your desk, dresser or on your mantel? Perhaps a friend or family member would appreciate one as well; a lovely way to bring in spring.

I used the Birds & Branches stamp set bundle, page 120 of the Annual Catalogue. This stamp set and coordinating dies are carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue being released on May 4; however, purchasing it now saves you 10% (while it’s still a bundle). The item number is #154107 for $63. If you wait for the new catalogue the stamp set is $24 and the dies are $46 for a total of $70.

An expectant mother patiently guarding her eggs …

… and the father ready to fly off to get food for his mate. This ritual will soon be happening everywhere as we move deeper into spring.
Stamp and cut a few extra elements so you have plenty to choose from when assembling this card.

After the video, I finished the backside of the card.

Cutting & Scoring Measurements
- Card base, Merry Merlot, 4-1/4″ x 8″, scored on long side @ 1-1/4″ from each end
- 1st wall, Basic White, 6-3/4″ x 2-3/4″, scored on long side @ 1/2″ & 1-1/4″ from each end
- 2nd wall, Merry Merlot, 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″, scored on long side @ 1/2″ & 1-1/4″ from each end
- For the back, Basic White, 4″ x 5-1/4″
- DSP, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and 1-1/4″ x 3″
Here is the other card I had made last year so you can see the variation of colours.

I hope you enjoy this card. It was fun to make. Thanks for spending time with me here and watching the video.
