Hello everyone,
My fellow demonstrators have created an Easter themed card this month. I used the Welcome Easter stamp set from the 2020 Mini catalogue. The three characters are just so darned cute – a bunny, a chick and a lamb. What I love about them is that they lend themselves to be coloured however you want – blue, yellow, purple to make them whimsical looking or use natural colours as I did for this card.
You cannot help but smile at this adorable bunny. This is the stamp set:
These images are very easy to colour with any of our colouring products – Blends, Watercolor Pencils, Inks and Aqua Brushes.
And they are perfect for punching or die cutting to create embellishments on Easter treat packaging.

Here is a close up of the trio of punched circles.
From our Sparkly Glimmer Paper (item #and new So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (item #152313, a free SAB item), I used the 1-3/8″ circle punch, now retired, but you could use one of the Layering Circles dies (item #141705).
Notice that the Happy Easter greeting stamp is long. To create the greeting on the card, I coloured one word at a time using our Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker and stamped one on top of the other. I then punched it with the same circle punch and mounted it with a dimensional.
I used the Floral Essence bundle (item #151055) from the Annual catalogue for the leaves.
And to create the whimsical frame, I simply hand-drew the lines with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker (you could use a fine-tipped marker).
Oh, and I almost forgot about the flower. This was punched from the 12 x 12 Pleased As Punch designer series paper (item #143558) and the Small Bloom Punch, item #152316 (another free SAB item available along with a coordinating stamp set).
So there you have it! Enjoy the next blog in the hop and feel free to send us comments. We appreciate hearing from you.

Great project, Erica! I love that tip about using the black marker to change the orientation of the stamp – will definitely try that! xo

Yes, it's a good one and for those greeting stamps with multiple lines, you can use different colours.
