Seashore Stampers December Blog Hop-New Year’s

Hello fellow stampers and paper crafters. Can you believe it? It’s the end of 2019 and we are ending it with a card to celebrate the new year.

I created this card using the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set and coordinating dies as well as the Cheers to That stamp set and coordinating dies. You save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and the dies as a bungle. These two stamp sets complement one another – I would call them a dynamic duo. They are not only great for creating New Year’s cards and treat packages but are super for weddings, birthdays and just about any occasion worth celebrating.

I just love the assortment of glasses for your wines (red and white), champagne, Prosecco (one of my favourite bubbly beverages), martinis, daiqueris and margheritas. And check out the garnishes too. It’s such a cute set with the coordinating dies. It has some cute greetings as well. And then, for the other stamp set, it has some great greetings for those varying occasions plus you can cut out Cheers and some flourishes to add interest to your cards.

I chose the colour Calypso Coral because one of my favourite cocktails is an Aperol Spritz.

It’s made with Aperol, a bright orange aperitif and Prosecco. It’s very refreshing and very popular in Italy. I will definitely be having one of these on New Year’s Eve.

Cutting and Scoring Measurements

Whisper White Thick cardstock cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored on the long side at 4-1/4″ to create the card base.

Calypso Coral cardstock cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the layer.

For the strawberries, I used the Real Red and the Garden Green Stampin’ Write markers to colour directly onto the stamp and blended the red with the Wink of Stella pen.
