Continuing with my chicken obsession, I made this card after watching France Martin’s card video on make a ‘chicken coop’ using the Hey, Chick stamp set, one of the items you can earn during Sale-A-Bration.
It may look complicated to make but really is easy to put together once you have prepared all the pieces. I’m going to make another one with only two chickens (male and female) in the coop for good friends of mine who are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. It would also be a perfect card to send to someone who has just purchased a new home or moved into a new apartment, or for a wedding.
Here is the first card I made after viewing France’s video. I made a mistake positioning the door on the chicken coop but since it was a lot of work, I fixed it by adding the chicken’s names to the coop.
Here is the second version I made with a peep hole in the door.
I hope you enjoy this project.
I’d love to hear what you think, so please post comments below. And if you have any questions, post there are well.

From Carol Eason: These are really fresh, clever, and bring smiles. It's great receiving and sending humourous cards, especially in these politically trying times.. 🙂 Love them.
