Embossing Folders
Remember that fabulous Cable Knit folder that came out last Christmas? Many of you purchased it. Then in the spring catalogue, the Hexagons embossing folder came out. This was a fabulous folder creating not only a masculine texture but a great background for anything ‘bee’ or ‘nature’ related. Well they are back again along with thee new ones. You must build your Big Shot sandwich a little differently from the other embossing folders and this video shows you how.

Another new product is embossing paste on page 201. This has been around for a while and Stampin’ Up! has recognized its popularity for adding dimension to projects. And the best thing – you can colour it using your re-inkers. I will have a class on this for sure. Other must have for using this paste are the palette knives, decorative masks and the silicone craft sheet.

Oh and I have to tell you about the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. You know those intricate details dies? Examples are the Butterflies Thinlits, Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits and the Detailed Floral Thinlits (to name a few) and any word dies. Well these have presented challenges with how to both cut them out and adhere them to our projects. Well, to cut them out, you really should have the the Precision Base Plate and the Big Shot Die Brush. And for sticking them down – no matter which glue we use, the glue seems to seep out leaving a glossy mess. This is where the adhesive sheets come in – no more mess and they ensure better adhesion. Check out this new Happy Birthday die.
