Happy New Year Everyone.
I’m starting the New Year with a post on kindness. It’s been a theme since COVid-19 started. Be kind to everyone. It’s not just Ellen who ends each of her shows with this but our health administration has also been reminding us to be kind and keep safe.
It’s also about thanking people. Thanking those who work in the medical field, thanking those who have transported our goods across the country and from around the world, and thanking those who have supported us with a Zoom visit, Facetime chat and a card in the mail.

This card uses the Oval Occasions stamp bundle, a stamp set and a punch. What I loved about this was the oval punches, a two in one punch to punch out the various greetings in this set and being able to layer them with a piece of cardstock using the scallop punch.

Not only will this set be handy for small greetings on your cards, but you can also easily use it for creating tags for your gift packaging.
I’m looking forward to using this for Valentine’s and for Easter.
I started out with a card base of Daffodil Delight. I love yellow with gold. To create the card base, cut a piece of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in half at 5-1/2 then score the 8-1/2″ side at 4-1/4″. Next, I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and embossed it with the Subtle folder. After glueing it to the card base, I then stamped four of the images using VersaMark ink and heat embossed in gold powder and punched each out with the scalloped oval. The fifth oval I punched out of gold foil and embossed it with the Ornate Floral embossing folder. I cut a piece of the gold-edged ribbon and stuck it to the back of the oval with tape. I added dimensionals to all the ovals and adhered them to the card.
I hope you enjoy this card and will give this stamp set bundle a thought when putting your shopping list together.
