One of my team members chose this fold as her M&T project for our team meeting last month. Karen found this card on Lisa Curcio’s YouTube channel and thought it would make a good project for us to make. We really enjoyed making it, so thank you Karen.
I decided to make another one for a masculine birthday coming up mid month and used the Whiskey Business stamp set and Plaid Tidings DSP. What a perfect combination for a masculine card. This card combines two folds into one – a tent fold and a gate-fold.
Flip up the card front to reveal a gate-fold on the inside.
Open the gate-fold to reveal the inside of the card.
Cutting & Scoring Measurements
Crumb Cake (base): 8 1/2″ x 11″, follow the template for scoring and
cutting instructions
Whisper White (for image): 3″ x 4″
Calypso Coral (image layer): 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Whisper White (inside panel): 4″ x 5 1/4″
So Saffron (banner): 1/2″ x 4″
Gate-fold Pieces:
Calypso Coral (layers): 2 pieces @ 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
Designer Series Paper: 2 pieces @ 1 5/8″ x 5″
If I like a particular fun fold, I often make more than one and I’m off to make another one using the same stamp set and paper, just different colours for another male friend’s birthday in December.
