I have an easy card for you this Friday. I’m sure you are familiar with a gate-fold card, but if not, it’s a card where the card front is cut down the middle and you pull it open like a gate.
I have made a number of cards using this fun fold but today I have a different type of gate-fold. I’m calling it an off-centred gate-fold because rather than have the gate centred, the opening is off to the right.
I have once again used the Snow Wonder stamp set and coordinating dies. I love this set and more than likely I will keep it in my holiday stash of stamp sets. It has lovely snowy images, perfect for creating a winter scene.
Here is the front of the card showing the off-centred gate-fold. There are so many design options for this fun fold. Rather than cover the gate opening you could place the snowman on the left-hand panel. If you wanted to keep the card closed, you could tie it with a ribbon.
I wanted to create a snowy scene for this fabulous snowman so I picked a selection of patterns from the wonderful, wintry designer series paper called Peaceful Place.
You cannot see the silvery accents in this paper but I do show you the papers in the video below.
