Hello, and welcome back for another super card layout. You can make a card using any number of layers. What I like about multiple layered cards is the opportunity to design with our fabulous designer series papers. There are two sides to every sheet which means cutting from one sheet gives you two layers.
For this card, I used the products in the By the Bay suite on pages 22-23 of the Mini Catalogue. These products are retiring at the end of this month except for the stamp set and dies. These are carried forward into the new 2023 Annual Catalogue but are sold separately. If you don’t yet have this stamp bundle, I would recommend purchasing it now, item #160445, to save 10%.
Also, you might want to consider purchasing the designer series paper, item #160434, the Balmy Blue & White ribbon, item #160448, and the Flat Adhesive-backed Pearls, item #160449 as these are retiring.
Cutting & Scoring Measurements
- Thick Basic White cardstock, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored on the long side at 4-1/4″
- Balmy Blue cardstock, 4″ x 5-1/4″
- DSP, 3-78″ x 5-1/8″
- Balmy Blue cardstock, 3″ x 4-1/4″
- DSP, 2-3/4″ x 4″
You will need a scrap piece of Mint Macaron (retiring) to cut the grasses and a piece of Basic White cardstock to stamp the oyster and the pearl.
The oyster stamp does include the pearl but I chose to use the actual pearl stamp to stamp and die-cut, then add Wink of Stella to simulate the lustre.

Thank you for stopping by. Happy stamping.
