Hello fellow stamping friends,
This month’s theme is Valentine’s Day because it’s just around the corner.
It seems to be a big deal for elementary school children more than any other demographic. I have fond memories of sitting at the kitchen table with my daughter and a box of mini valentine’s cards. They weren’t really cards, more like tiny love notes. I wish I had been involved with Stampin’ up! then as I would have loved helping her create little cards and treat boxes from scratch.
Unfortunately I do not have any grandchildren to create with but I do enjoy sending cards to my daughter and my nieces and nephews and of course, one for my husband.
There are some cute Valentine’s stamp sets in the newer Occasions catalogue but I chose to bring out two stamp sets (Sheltering Tree and Bella & Friends) I haven’t used very much from the Annual catalogue and are still available for purchase.

The card base is the Thick Whisper White and I used Lovely Lipstick and Blushing Bride card stock. I coloured the little dog with the Stampin’ Blends and cut him out using the Squares framelits. Metallic thread is a great way to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to your layout and is available in copper, silver, gold and this new rose. The Sheltering Tree stamp set is a good one to have in your stash because you can create cards in every season.

All of these products can be found in my online store. If you need help finding anything, let me know.
We have four blog participants this month: Adrienne, Bruni, Miran and Tanya. Enjoy the hop!
