Today I bring you a simple card on which I used my score board to create visual interest and texture. And you thought a score board was for creating card bases and boxes!
Take a look at the top and bottom of this card. See the score lines? You can add any number of score lines, long and short, all around, or just in the corners — anything you want really.
And, once you have completed the scoring, you can decide to place the layer with the embossed lines facing up or the debossed lines facing up. Your choice!
Watch my video tutorial to see how I create this effect and put this card together. All the supplies and measurements are listed below.
Card Measurements:
Real Red card base: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Two pieces of Whisper White: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Two pieces of DSP for punching the ornaments
Scrap of Pretty Peacock for the label
Scrap of Whisper White for the greeting
Scrap of Copper Foil for the ornament tops
