Welcome to our November blog hop featuring a three-dimensional item. I purchased these cute cellophane wrapped lemon cookies and want to package them together with a lemon ginger tea packet. Always browsing for projects while I sit with a cup of tea, I had recently viewed two videos on a stand up pouch and decided it would work well. The neat thing is that you can make a few and store them flat. When ready to use, simply pop out the bottom, add your goodies, then tuck the flap beneath an embellishment. It’s a little difficult to explain the assembly so I have a video for you.
Here are the cutting and scoring measurements followed by a link to my video.
Cutting and Scoring Measurements
DSP: 4″ x 12″
On the long side, score at 4-1/4″, 4-1/2″, 5″, 5-1/2″, 5-3/4″ and 10-1/4″ (this is the flap end)
Rotate to the right so the flap section is at the bottom.
You will now make two score lines, one at 1/4″, the other at 3-3/4″ and stop at the flap scoreline.
Watch the video for the assembly instructions.
I hope you enjoy this project and will find it a good fit for a gift or two. Now please visit the next blog to see another fun project.
