Hello everyone,
I finally finished my first video tutorial for you. It was a long learning curve because I wanted to add a lot of features: beginning and ending to introduce me and my blog and several captions to provide some explanations or further instructions.

I used my new Canon Vixia camcorder with my tripod set up over my work area. I did use my iPhone but it would become very hot and then shut off. This told me that I was making the videos too long and well, to be honest, making them short didn’t seem to be an option.
I used Animoto to create the video beginning and ending and uploaded these to YouTube.
I used Windows Live Movie Maker to edit the frames of my tutorial and uploaded it to YouTube. Then I used YouTube’s video editing features to put them all together and make public for your viewing pleasure (I hope). I have certainly learned a lot over the last week or so and I’m hoping this knowledge will go towards quickly producing and publishing future tutorials.
