Yes, well, you know, life, etc. Here is my interpretation of the card sketch.
I started with a layer of DSP from the ‘It’s My Party’ paper stack. The piece with the pink polka dots is a piece of vellum that I ran through the Big Shot with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder. On the backside, I used a sponge dauber to apply Melon Mambo ink.
The black horizontal strip of cardstock is embossed with the Chevron embossing folder. I then punched a piece of Mint Macaron with the large scallop punch. The greeting is from the Party Pants stamp set, one of the three new items added to Sale-A-Bration. I punched it out with the 2″ circle punch, glued it to the scallop circle and then mounted it onto the card with dimensionals. I stamped the balloon from the Balloon Celebration stamp set and punched it out with the coordinating punch. It also has a dimensional on it. Lastly, I used Glossy Accents to add a few droplets to the balloon. That effect may be difficult to see in the photo but they catch the light and are quite effective.
Now you go and make a card and if you’d like it added to the Mojo Monday album for sharing, send it to me.
