Okay, so a little backstory:
After finally getting over a terrible cough that started at Christmas, I was ready to get back to making my Fun Fold Friday videos and released the first one for Friday, Feb 7 followed by one for the 14th. This fun fold was planned for the 21st but as I was editing, I could not find the first half of the video. It got deleted somehow. So you are getting it for the 28th. Sorry about that!
I’m calling this the Card on Card fun fold – I’m quite pleased how it turned out. The prototype card was made from Balmy Blue cardstock. The stamp set is called Beautiful Moments. In the video below, you will see how this card comes together along with how to create a blended background and colouring with Stampin’ Blends. I purchased this stamp set because it reminded me of my relationship with my sister when we were many years younger. The embossing folder used is called Hammered Metal, item #150646.
Here is a second version intended for the failed video. The colours used are Calypso Coral and Flirty Flamingo and the embossing folder is called Pinewood Planks, item #152320.
You can use matching cardstock colours or select colours that coordinate well together.
If you purchased any of these embossing folders prior to the 2019-2020 Annual catalogue, you do not need the 3D Embossing Folder Plate, item #149658.
In this video, I make the following card using Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather cardstock. The embossing folder is called Mosaic, item #149575.
