Welcome to this month’s red & white themed blog hop. I love giving out chocolates for Valentine’s so I chose to use one of our treat boxes featured on page 152 of the Annual Catalogue.
- Acetate Card Boxes, item #144628 – for A2 sized cards and envelopes
- Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, item #141699 – sized at 2″ x 2″ x 2″
- 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Card Boxes, item #150428, for 3″ x 3″ cards and mini envelopes (item #145829)
I have used the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes for the gourmet jelly beans but decided to use the 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Card Boxes which I love to use for sets of 3″ x 3″ notecards and envelopes**. As I browsed Pinterest for some ideas, I came across a belly band wrap made by Brenda Quintana.
** 3″ x 3″ envelopes, item #145829
I loved how she created a window using the dies from the Lots of Heart bundle.
Start with cutting a piece of cardstock 8-1/2″ x 3-1/8″. You could also use Designer Series Paper for this project. Rather than giving you score lines, I found it better to wrap the cardstock around the box pressing it around the edges and then scoring afterwards. The video will show you how I did this.
Thank you for taking the time to be here. For your convenience here is a list of the supplies used for this project.
