A card that has caught my attention recently is one where the front of the card has been cut into a triangle and the cut pieces are used to create three points along the bottom. I first saw this card made by Sam Calcott with Mixed Up Craft. She made a 6″ x 6″ card which is a large card with associated issues:
- you would have to make an envelope for it and would need a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper
- it would cost more to mail
So the hunt was on to find a card to fit our standard A2 sized envelopes. On my journey I found tutorials with different names: a triple point card, a crossover pointy card, and a diamond point card; however, all of these were square cards.
In the end, I had to make my own version and have chosen to call it an A2 three-point card to differentiate it from all the others.
Since Sale-A-Bration is ending soon, on September 30, I chose to use the Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep Dies as they are my favourite products that you can earn with an order of $120. Don’t miss out on this perfect birthday bundle. Young or old, this makes an adorable card. Use my monthly Host Code, VRVHT9VM when placing your order before September 30. Be sure to check my gallery below with other sheep cards.

The Designer Series Paper used in this project is called Pattern Party from the Annual Catalogue. This is a fun pack of papers with loads of colours – great for birthday cards.
This next photo shows the inside of the card.
